চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জে সুরক্ষিত অবস্থায় ৪ হাজার ৮০০ ডোজ করোনা ভ্যাকসিন এসে পৌঁছেছে। শুক্রবার দুপুরে একটি কাভার্ড ভ্যানে জেলা সিভিল সার্জন অফিসের ইপিআই স্টোরে ৪টি কার্টুনে ভ্যাকসিনগুলো এসে পৌঁছায়। এসময় এ ভ্যাকসিনগুলো গ্রহন করেন, জেলা প্রশাসক মোঃ মঞ্জুরুল হাফিজ ও সিভিল সার্জন ডাঃ জাহিদ নজুরল চৌধুরী।
সিভিল সার্জন ডাঃ জাহিদ নজরুল চৌধুরী বলেন, ৪টি কার্টুনে ৪ হাজার ৮০০ ভায়াল ভ্যাকসিন পেলাম।প্রতি ভ্যায়ালে ১০ ডোজ ভ্যাকসিন আছে। সেই হিসেবে ৪৮ হাজার ডোজ ভ্যাকসিন পেলাম।এ্খন ভ্যাকসিনগুলো ইপিআই স্টোরে সংরক্ষন করা হবে। সরকারি সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী আগামী ৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি জেলা পর্যায়ে ভ্যাকসিন প্রদান কার্যক্রম শুরু হবে। এ কার্যক্রম সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে পরিচালনার জন্য জেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমিটি কাজ করছে এবং প্রাপ্ত দিক নির্দেশনা অনুসারে নিয়মতান্ত্রিকভাবে ভ্যাকসিন প্রদান কার্যক্রম আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু করা হবে। তিনি জানান, ১ ও ২ ফেব্রুয়ারি স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীদের ভ্যাকসিন প্রদানের প্রশিক্ষন দেয়া হবে। এরপর আধুনিক সদর হাসপাতালসহ উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রের বিভিন্ন বুথে স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীদের মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্টদের ভ্যাকসিন প্রদান করা হবে।প্রথমে জেলার সরকারি কর্মকর্তা, পুলিশ, স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মীসহ সংশ্লিষ্টদের ভ্যাকসিন প্রদান করা হবে। সিভিল সার্জন বলেন, করোনা ভ্যাকসিন পেতে হলে প্রথমে ‘সুরক্ষা’ অ্যাপস এর মাধ্যমে রেজিস্ট্রেশন করতে হবে ।রেজিস্টেশন ছাড়া কেউ ভ্যাকসিন গ্রহন করতে পারবেন না বলে জানান তিনি এসময়, জেলা ঔষধ প্রশাসনের সহকারী পরিচালক মোসাঃ ফোয়ারা ইয়াছমিন, স্বাচিপের জেলা সভাপতি ও জেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সহ-সভাপতি ডাঃ গোলাম রাব্বানী, বেক্সিমকো ফার্মার সিনিয়র অফিসার মোঃ শিবলূ রহমান, রাজশাহী ডিপু ইনচার্জ আব্দুর রশিদসহ সিভিল সার্জন অফিসের কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীগণ, পুলিশ ও র্যাব সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
