উখিয়া উপজেলার হলদিয়া পালং ইউনিয়নের নলবুনিয়া গ্রামে চিহ্নিত ইয়াবা কারবারিরা সংবাদকর্মী আব্দুল হাকিম কে হত্যা করতে অপহরণ পূর্বক বর্বরোচিত নির্যাতন চালিয়েছে। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ তিন ঘন্টা পর তাকে রক্তাক্ত ও মুমূর্ষ অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে উখিয়া হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে।
সর্বশেষ খবরে জানা গেছে, সংবাদ কর্মী আব্দুল হাকিম এর অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক হওয়ায় রাত সাড়ে ১০ টায় কক্সবাজার সদর হাসপাতালে রেফার করেছে কর্মরত চিকিৎসক।
ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যার পর।
গ্রামবাসী জানায়, চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র ও দৈনিক মাতৃজগত পত্রিকা স্থানীয় প্রতিনিধি আব্দুল হাকিম মরিচ্যা পাতাবাড়ি সড়ক দিয়ে সিএনজিযোগে সংবাদ কর্মী বাড়িতে ফিরছিল।
প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীর মতে, নলবুনিয়া প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়এলাকা সংলগ্ন হতে চিহ্নিত ইয়াবা কারবারিরা পূর্ব পরিকল্পিতভাবে তাকে অপহরণ করে।
পরিবারের সদস্যরা জানান ,নলবুনিয়া এলাকার চিহ্নিত ইয়াবা কারবারি ও হত্যা মামলার আসামি সাহাব মিয়ার পুত্র আলী আহমদের নেতৃত্বে বদরুল হকের পুত্র ফারুক মিয়া ও জিয়াউল হক সহ দুর্বৃত্তরা আব্দুল হাকিম কে হাত পা বেঁধে লোহার রড ও অস্ত্র দিয়ে হত্যার উদ্দেশ্যে অমানুষিক নির্যাতন চালায়।
হলদিয়াপালং ইউনিয়নের ৫ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের মেম্বার সরোয়ার বাদশা ঘটনার সত্যতা স্বীকার করে বলেন, সংবাদ কর্মী আব্দুল হাকিমকে অপহরণ করে নির্যাতন চালাচ্ছেন এমন খবর পেয়ে ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চকিদারসহ সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে সাতটায় উদ্ধারের চেষ্টা করি।
ও সময় রক্তাক্ত অবস্থায় হাকিমের দেহ ফারুক মিয়ার বাড়িতে পড়ে থাকে। তিনি দুঃখ প্রকাশ করে বলেন, আহতকে উদ্ধার করে গাড়িতে তোলার চেষ্টা করলেও হামলাকারীর বাঁধার কারণে তিনি ব্যর্থ হন।
এদিকে বিষয়টি উখিয়া থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ কে জানালে সাব ইন্সপেক্টর মতিউর রাত আটটার দিকে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে রক্তাক্ত ও মুমূর্ষ অবস্থায় আব্দুল হাকিম কে উদ্ধার করে উখিয়া হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে।
উল্লেখ্য গত মাসেও চিহ্নিত ইয়াবা কারবারিরা তাকে অপহরণ করে হত্যার উদ্দেশ্যে অনুরূপভাবে নির্যাতন চালালেও তিনি কোন রকম বেঁচে যান।
